'Pathfinder (Deluxe)'

When a couple is in a relationship, they are each having their own unique experience. Being two different people, the struggles, the revelations, will generally be different for each. And sometimes they will occur in parallel, and be magical and bonding. And sometimes the universe will also step in and ramp up the stakes even more.

This particular relationship occurred at a time in my life, when I was living more fully formed in my own understanding of my self, and my life, than previous one’s had. And honestly, hopefully every new relationship finds someone in a similar state. And when such relationships occur at that time, a person usually births a more deep and illustrated understanding of love. And accordingly, when such a learning experience ends, in its breakup, one will be left with many questions, not only about themselves, but of their understanding and nature of love.

What followed was an album exploring every facet of both the concept of relationships, and the concept of love, and my personal history with both.
